Who doesn’t love gorgeous beauty products? Slaybella has everything from s.t.u.n.n.i.n.g. makeup brushes, to amazing lashes, and I had the pleasure of wearing a set of them this holiday season. Let me tell you, when I say I sleighed Christmas this year, I mean it. * All the puns intended. *

When Slaybella first got in contact with me and I was browsing their products, I was really flipping tempted by their makeup brushes. I was convinced that was the product I was going to review. While, yes, they’re damn beautiful, I was curious about their falsies and I found the curiosity outweighed the need of sparkly applicators.

I used to wear false lashes all. the. time. But I’d say I’ve taken a 4 or 5 year hiatus from them. I found it difficult to shape them, apply them, and by the end of the night I always found them drooping or coming away at the corners.

Slaybella’s lashes came in a set of 3, at least the pack that I got did, they do have even larger packs. The pack also didn’t come with an applicator or glue, but I had my trusty Duo glue and tweezers to help me out. The first thing I noticed - and loved - is that these falsies were BIG. So I’d say if you’re going to a casual night out, probably not for you, but if you like a full glam face of makeup, or if you’re behind the camera a ton, they’re perfect. (Stage performers listen up.) These babies will get noticed, and they give that beautiful fluttery look that normal lashes and mascara just can’t achieve.

I’m blessed with pretty wide eyes, so I didn’t even have to trim these, they were perfect size, but depending on how short you like your falsies to be you can of course cut them. Application was just like any other set; apply your glue, make sure to cover the corners especially, bend them a bit, let them dry for a few seconds and apply close to your lash line once the glue gets tacky. The larger the lashes, the easier I find them to apply, so these were a sinch. And what I LOVED most about them was, there was no pulling away from my eye or drooping. I attest that to the way they’re expertly curved and good quality.

Let me know if you’ve tried any of their products and what you thought!
